Bright and beautiful blooms will be on show next month when gardens in Cossall open up to raise cash for the community.

The annual event this year takes place on Saturday June 8.

There will be 16 gardens open from 1pm - 5pm on the day.

Tickets are £3 and all the cash raised will go to the Cossall Community Cash which is currently collecting to raise cash to extend and refurbish the Old School Room.

As well as the open gardens there will also be a number of scarecrows on show throughout the village and plant sales taking place.

Refreshments will be on offer at the Old School Room on Church Lane. There will also be various stalls as well as a raffle and tombola.

There will be activites for children at the Old Police House on Awsworth Lane, including face painting.

A free park and ride service is available from Trinity Farm, near to the Gardners pub, on Awsworth Lane.

Tickets are available at the gardens on the day. Under 12s go free.
