Nimble fingered knitters have sent a pile of woolly hats to help youngsters abroad.
The Ladies Fellowship Group at West Hallam Methodist Church invited people to help them knit and crochet as many hats as possible as part of a Save the Children campaign.
The scheme was launched to help newborns in developing countries who struggle to regulate their own body temperature and cut the number of deaths that are due to pneumonia.
Their project was boosted by people from Stapleford and Ilkeston - and Marjorie McQueen, 88, of Beechcroft Care Home in West Hallam who knitted 24 of the hats in different colours.
Organisers plan to send the tiny hats to the Save the Children appeal.
