Here are the latest cases to be dealt with at Derby Magistrates’ Court.
Neil Mcmonagle, aged 37, Norbury Way, Sandiacre, pleaded guilty to driving when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely
D-9-Tetrahtdrocannabinol, in his blood, namely 7.0 mg per litre in blood, exceeded the specified limit. He was fined £250, will pay a £25 surcharge, costs of £85 to the CPS. He was banned from driving for 16 months.
Paul Phillpott, aged 33, of Corporation Road, Ilkeston. Application for forfeiture of seized cash, namely £1,300 in accordance with section 298 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Forfeiture was granted and he must pay costs of £205 to Derbyshire Constabulary.
Royce Sims, aged 46, The Crescent, Stapleford, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. He was discharged conditionally for six months. His licence was not endorsed as it was proved that he had made efforts to check the legality of the car. He will pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £15 surcharge.
Shane Bond, aged 23, of Cotmanhay Road, Ilkeston, indicated a plea of guilty to possession of class B drug amphetamine, worth £10. He was fined £85, must pay a £20 surcharge, £85 to the CPS. The drugs will be destroyed.
Clinton Breward, aged 39, Thilmere Road, Long Eaton, pleaded guilty to stealing seven packs of bacon from Iceland. He was fined £80, will pay £28 compensation, £85 to the CPS and a £20 surcharge.
Jahshim Buchanon, aged 32, of Noskwith Street, Ilkeston, pleaded guilty to two charges of resisting a police constable in the course of his duty. He was fined £170, will pay a £20 surcharge and £85 to the CPS.

John Reynolds, aged 33, Skevington Lane, Ilkeston, pleaded guilty to assault on a woman and damaging a stereo and picture frames. He was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months. He must take part in a building better relationships programme.
Steven Williams, aged 53, of Charnwood Avenue, Long Eaton, will stand trial on April 1 at Nottingham Crown Court for four charges of possessing and making indecent images of children on computers , mobile phones and memory sticks.
