CELLS at Ilkeston’s police station will be used to house prisoners while a new CCTV system is installed at Derby’s St Mary’s Wharf station.
Derby’s main station will be closed from Sunday February 27, until Friday March 25.
The work is part of an 18-month scheme.
The £750,000 project will mean that all of Derbyshire’s custody suites will have a digital camera in them.
Prisoners will also be taken to Ripley and Chesterfield.
