A date has been announced for the reopening of Ilkeston’s newly-extended Aldi store.
Following refurbishment as part of a six-month project, the Manor Road store will open its doors to customers for the first time at 8am on Thursday November 17.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be performed by Aldi Store Manager Martin Shaw and representatives from Ilkeston Town Juniors FC.
And in conjunction with the store opening, Aldi will be donating £500 to Ilkeston Town Juniors FC to help raise funds for a defibrillator for the club.
Mr Shaw said: “We’re pleased to be re-opening our Ilkeston store following a six-month project.
“The team and I are proud to support Ilkeston Town Juniors FC and look forward to their attendance on opening day.”
Shoppers will have over 1,800 product lines to choose from at the refurbished store, including a range of fresh produce plus a wide range of weekly ‘Specialbuys’.
‘Specialbuys’ occur every Thursday and Sunday and offer customers a range of products from gardening equipment to electrical items.
The Manor Road store - which has over 90 car parking spaces - will be open Monday to Saturday, 8am-10pm; and Sunday, 10am-4pm.
