Mansfield stunner Alice Kurylo was a reluctant Miss Mansfield at first - as she was randomly approached for the role one day in town.
But since winning the beauty contest in October last year the 20-year-old dancer has not stopped.
Alice, who is also a finalist for the Miss England contest in June, has been busy organising fundraisers for various charities including her chosen one - Nottingham City Hospital’s trust donations committee.
The warm-hearted beauty helped raise more than £1,000 during a December dinner event and another in March which also brought in more than £1,000.
She said: “I am really enjoying it - honest to god it is so much fun.
“Every girl loves to dress up but it not just that. You get to know everything that is going off in Mansfield.”
Alice has just graduated from Expressions Dance School with a diploma in musical theatre and has been dancing for more than ten years.
The 20-year-old, of Eakring Road, teaches at the Newgate Lane Academy and works as a support worker at Disco Inferno - a music and dance project set up for people with special needs at the Towers, on Botany Avenue.
Alice has several more fundraisers in the pipeline. In April she will be supporting an event in memory of Warsop war veteran Lee Bonsall raising awareness of post-traumatic stress disorder .
And in May she sill be appearing at a charity golf competition at Coxmoor Golf Club, Kirkby.
Then in June the beauty will be spreading some North Nottinghamshire love further afield to Mansfield, Ohio, during a visit to our sister town.
She said: “It will be nice to go over there and talk about our town but it will also be good to find out about them and what they are like.”
