Joanne McIntyre, 31, of Derwent Avenue, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to resisting a police constable in the execution of her duty. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to damaging two car tyres. No separate penalty.

Paige Barker, 22, of Main Road, Smalley. Complaint for committal to prison for non-payment of council tax and costs of £1,532.23 in respect of the period December 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, and April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016. To pay £1,532.23 or in default to serve 45 days further suspended.

Mark Jackson, 44, of Grasmere Road, Long Eaton. Admitted using threatening or abusive behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Restraining order to last until may 17, 2017. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Scott Thomas Weston, 48, Oxford Street, Long Eaton. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing cosmetics valued at £274.94 belonging to Wilkinson’s. Must pay £274.94 in compensation. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing cosmetics valued at £238.93 belonging to Tesco. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months with a four-week curfew and electronic monitoring.

Sean Francis Byrne, 47, of Trinity View, Long Eaton. Pleaded guilty to stealing three pairs of socks valued at £5.97 belonging to New Look. Pleaded guilty to stealing aftershave of a value unknown belonging to Boots Pharmacy. Indicated a guilty plea to attending the Blue Bell pub which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. Must pay £50 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Admits committing a further offence during a suspended sentence order for harassment. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to the suspended sentence order of going to the Blue Bell pub when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order. Committed to prison for 26 weeks.

Thomas Edmund Cummins, 38, of Peveril Drive, Ilkeston. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing groceries valued at £25.23 belonging to Tesco. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court having been released on bail. Admitting committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 18 months for an offence of theft from a shop. No adjudication. Admits committing a further offence during a suspended sentence order for an offence of arson. Suspended sentence order of 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months to continue for the offence of arson involving a van. Pleaded guilty to the original offence of stealing cable which was subject to the conditional discharge. Community order to last until August 8, 2016 with a 12 curfew and electronic monitoring.

Disqualified from driving for six months. Proved in absence that he drove a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty.

Richard Swinhoe, 61, of College Street, Long Eaton. Proved in absence that he used a vehicle without insurance. Fined £660 and must pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Stefan Rose, 26, of Wentwick Street, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. Fined £100. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to other vehicles and failed to stop. Fined £300 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Darren Mark Canning, 48, of Derby Road, Long Eaton. Admitted exceeding the drink-drive limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Steven Junior Romain, 26, of Bridge Street, Long Eaton. Admitted assault. Fined £40 and must pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admitted stealing two cans of Stella Artois, Pot Noodle, sweets and biscuits. Must pay £7 compensation. Community order to last until December 17, 2017, with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
