Christopher Britt, 31, of Wheeldon Close, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It is ordered that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier be given to a named person. Fined £120 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £651 costs. Disqualified from keeping a dog for three years. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards two police officers. Fined £80.
David Peet, 48, of Howard Close, Long Eaton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Anita Marie Armstrong, 46, of Coppice Avenue, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order with an eight-week curfew and electronic monitoring. Must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Joshua Lee Barratt, 25, of Holdman Close, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to damaging a wooden gate. Must pay £41.10 compensation. Pleaded guilty to damaging a fence panel and trellis work valued at £35.40. Must pay £35.40 compensation. Pleaded guilty to destroying a patio set valued at £40. Must pay £40 compensation. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. No separate penalty. Admitted the conviction of an offence while a community order is in force for two counts of criminal damage. Dealt with for the original counts of criminal damage which were subject to the community order including damaging a wall and window valued at £150 and damaging a Renault Megane to the value of £900. Community order to last until May 3, 2017, with a Drug Rehabilitation Activity Requirement, Thinking Skills and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.
Phillip Bennett, 53, of Main Street, Horsley Woodhouse, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Indicated a guilty plea to a second count of using threatening behaviour. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months with an Alcohol Treatment Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and a restraining order. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Stacey White, 30, of Burnthouse Road, Heanor. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Fined £80 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Detained in the court house until the court rose.
Sorrell Plant, 24, of No Fixed Address. Admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison. Committed to prison for 14 days.
Jamie Terry Broddel, 22, of Malthouse Road, Ilkeston. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.9 grammes of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 22 months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.
Michael Coen, 26, of Burke Drive, Somercotes. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 1.5 grammes of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge.
Ebenezor Good, 58, of No Fixed Address. Pleaded guilty to stealing 20 grammes of Golden Virginia Cigarettes valued at £19.89 belonging to Sainsbury’s. Fined £40 and must pay £19.89 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Simon Middleton, 37, of Ray Street, Heanor. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £300 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 40 months.
