A 31-year-old Ilkeston man who was found dead in a wood had taken his own life, an inquest has ruled.
A man walking his dog with his two daughters found Neil Roger Theopopholous Clark in a wood close to Fall Road in Heanor on August 12 last year.
An inquest into his death was held at Derby and South Derbyshire Coroner’s Court.
Coroner Dr Robert Hunter recorded that Mr Clark, who had worked as a gardener, had ‘taken his own life while his mind was temporarily disturbed.’
He had been going through some problems prior to his death, the inquest was told.
It is believed that Mr Clark, of St Norberts Drive, had died on the same day his body was found.
