A 26-year-old man has been jailed for eight months after police found cannabis plants in his house during a drugs warrant.
Officers executed the warrant at an address in Gibb Street, Long Eaton, in the early hours of February 27, 2014.
They found a number of cannabis plants growing inside the address, along with various items of growing equipment.
Liam Brinley was arrested at the scene and later charged by police with producing the class B controlled drug and possessing class A drugs.
The 26-year-old, of Gibb Street, Long Eaton, was sentenced to eight months in prison when he appeared at Derby Crown Court on Friday, October 10.
