Knights in armour put on a spectacle fit for a king at a farm fun day this weekend.
Oakfield Farm in West Hallam played host to the Knight of Nottingham who jousted for the 200 visitors on Sunday.
There was also a bar serving flaggons of ale, brewed on site by Nutbrook Brewery, have-a-go archery sessions and owls and birds of prey on show from Risley-based The Owl Experience.
Ilkeston Scouts helped out in the car park.
Victoria Leeming, marketing manager for Nutbrook Brewery, said there was a great community feel to the day, planned to be an annual event.
“It was a great family day out,” she said.
“The Knights of Nottingham were really good fun – the children were yelling.
“The Black Knight was the real baddy and the kids had great fun booing him.”
