The long-awaited final decision on plans for a new 1,950 home village in Stanton has been delayed.
Erewash Borough Council’s planning committee was due to make decisions on the major application, submitted by Saint Gobain Pam UK Ltd, on February 25.
However the council sent out an email on February 18 saying that the meeting had been postponed and date is yet to be set for the meeting.
The council said it had been agreed that there are a number of issues that still need to be addressed and more time is needed.
.The plans include a primary school, community plaza and health centre, and neighbourhood centre, and 150-bed accommodation for the elderly.
The committee will now meet at a later date to reveal the outcome of discussions.
