A MOTHER and baby were hospitalised after a collision with a car in Kirk Hallam this week.
A 77-year-old man driving a Nissan Almera collided with the woman as she was pushing a pushchair, containing a baby, across Ladywood Road in the village.
They were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, after the crash, which happened at about 12.35pm on Friday.
The woman was treated for minor injuries but the baby was unharmed.
A police spokesman said that the driver of the car was not arrested, but police are continuing with their enquiries.
