FRIENDS of a toddler at an Ilkeston nursery helped raise cash for a charity that supports him.
Nineteen-month-old Logan Young has cystic fibrosis so staff, parents and fellow pupils are donating the money raised from a summer fair held at the Rocking Horse Day Nursery on Saturday to a charity supporting him and others with the condition.
Tracey Moore works at the nursery and said: “We decided to raise money for people with cystic fibrosis to help the charity support people with the condition and research treatments and causes.
“Everyone had a great time at the fair and really enjoyed themselves.”
Hook-a-duck, tombolas, cake stalls and bric-a-brac were popular with visitors to the Heanor Road nursery.
Tracey added: “People were really generous and we raised £355 for a great cause that we all know helps lots of people with cystic fibrosis and their families.”
