PENSIONERS at an Ilkeston care home helped to raise £110 for their entertainments fund through a jumble sale.
Items from relatives’ homes and from Victoria Park Care Home itself were sold at the home last week.
The cash is used to take residents on trips out and for activities.
All unsold items were donated to the British Heart Foundation charity shop in Bath Street.
Home administrator Thais Ribeiro said she and the residents were ‘very pleased’ with the total.
