Derby College’s Ilkeston Campus will open its doors to the community and prospective students on Saturday March 21.
Visitors can see the facilities available in key vocational areas based at the campus such as painting and decorating, plastering, joinery and engineering.
Head of Ilkeston campus, Helen Jefferson, said: “The open day is another opportunity to learn more about the wide range of courses we have available.
“It is also a chance for people who are either thinking of re-training or young people who have their sights set on a job, apprenticeship or university to turn their hand at some of the vocational skills that they can benefit from in the world of work.”
The campus open day will be held between 10am and 12pm .
