Proposals for new parking restrictions in Stapleford will be discussed at a meeting on January 9.
The scheme would result in a changes to parking restrictions on roads including Albert Avenue, Bailey Street and Derby Road. They would see cars prevented from parking on parts of Albert Avenue between 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and residents parking places on a section of Wellington Road, replacing a single yellow line.
A consultation regarding parking in these areas came about following a meeting between Stapleford councillors and Nottinghamshire County Council.
Stapleford Town Council will hold a special meeting on January 9 where councillors will discuss the proposals.
Before the proposals are given the go ahead, the county council will consult with residents and organisations who may have an interest in the scheme.
A notice is displayed in the Carnegie Centre.
