Pensioner hit by bus in Ilkeston town centre

The crash happened on Bath Street at about 10.55am today.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: "She was trapped under the bus but was freed after the ambulance service attended.

"She has been taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with a suspected broken ankle."
