STUDENTS on a Prince’s Trust programme spent last week revamping a Long Eaton youth centre with cash they had raised at events across Erewash.
Pupils got out the paintbrushes and started work at the centre on Derby Road on Monday and worked until Friday to give the youth club building a new look.
The team had spent two days at Ilkeston’s Waterside Retail Park bag packing and car washing to help raise the cash.
Programme leader Kelly Colman said: The student’s have worked really hard and it’s definitely paid off.
“Thanks to everyone for their support.”
