More than £800 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support during a fun day held at the Cat and Fiddle in Ilkeston. The fun began at the pub on Ladywood Road at noon and included live music from local bands, cakes and craft stalls, face painting, inflatables and lots more. As well as this, members of staff cycled the length of the journey from the pub to Gretna Green on an exercise bike. The day was considered a great success and a total of £820 is now being donated to the charity.
