Kindhearted pub-goers have raised a whopping amount for a good cause in memory of a regular.
Lewis Scott, 10, has been receiving treatment at Birmingham City Hospital because he was born with a rare condition meaning his heart is back to front.
Lewis’s grandma, Jenny al-Baghdadi, known as Scotch Jenny, was a regular at the New Inn before she died aged 60 last May.
A collection at the Bath Street pub saw £1,000 raised for the unit where Lewis has had to undergo open heart surgery four times. His mum Dina Scott said she was over-the-moon with the donation, which she handed to the hospital this week.
Lewis is seen here with Dina and brother Jack.
