A FLOOD warning was issued for the River Erewash through Ilkeston, Sandiacre and Stapleford last week.
The Environment Agency said the whole course of the river from its source at Kirkby as far as where it meets the River Trent at Attenborough was at risk of bursting its banks.
Prolonged heavy rain over the previous week led to the warning.
There was flooding of low-lying farmland around Ilkeston at the weekend and roads were made impassable in Erewash villages, including Draycott.
There are now no longer any flood warnings in place for the river.
