Robber stops man in the street and walks off with cash
Police are investigating a street robbery in a Derbyshire town after a man was stopped by a thief who demanded cash.
Derbyshire officers are appeal for witnesses after the robbery in South Normanton on Wednesday, May 25 at around 10am.
They said: "A man was walking along Market Place in South Normanton, near to Chillies takeaway, when he was approached by a man who asked him for money.
"The suspect took the man’s wallet and stole cash from it and walked off.
"The man was described as black, of a large build and spoke poor English."
