A teenager had a bracelet ripped from her arm in an Ilkeston town cent re street, police have said.
The 16-year-old was walking home along Market Street when she was pushed to the ground by a man in broad daylight.
He tried to grab her mobile phone, which she was using at the time, but failed and instead tore a Pandora charm bracelet from her wrist.
Police have appealed for information this week after the incident happened at the junction with Hallcroft Road at some point between 11am and 11.30am on Tuesday March 26.
The high value bracelet had around 12 charms on it including one of a horse, a best friend scroll, a dad charm, angel wings, a duck charm and a heart and lock chain.
Officers would like to speak to witnesses, anyone who has any information about the incident or anyone who has been offered a bracelet matching the description which they believe could have been stolen.
