Thousands of Derbyshire drivers received advice about seatbelts and child car seats during a safety campaign and more than 100 others were dealt with for failing to wear a seatbelt in September.

Derbyshire police ran the campaign along with the Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership.

In September police stopped 117 drivers across the county who were not wearing seatbelts, of these 105 were fined and 12 were cautioned.

Staff from the road safety partnership also visited schools to speak to parents.
