Say no to huge development

Yesterday afternoon I went for a short walk on Manor Floods with my children as we often do – rather than go out in the car, they need the fresh air and its a great free space with footpaths, streams, lake, places to hide and run about.

We saw the following: six fisherman, four families walking their dogs, two mountain bikers, three children on bikes, two horseriders, one heron, six people having a walk, one rabbit, three teenagers on BMX bikes and two children on scooters.

The council want to build an Industrial Estate and more houses on this land.

All the above people use this space even on a cold damp day in December – think how many people use the area on better days.

I urge everyone to help save this area by writing to your local councillor.
