SANDIACRE sixth-formers’ art, design and photography masterpieces were shown to about 300 visitors this week.
Friesland School’s annual show opened last Thursday evening showing work from more than 50 students, including traditional techniques such as oils right through to contemporary fine art film installations.
Former student Jordan Fowler returned this year, having completed a degree in spatial design at Nottingham Trent Univesity to help with the difficult task of exhibiting such a wide range of work.
Head of art and design at the speicialist performing arts school, Maria Chauhan, said: “We are always proud of how creative our students are and how hard they work
“It was great to have Jordan return to not only help with the display, but also to inspire our current students.”
