SIXTY-four staff from Kirk Hallam Community College donned their walking boots to raise cash for charity when they took on the Peak District.
The trip was organised by staff after their colleague Jemma Bennett’s daughter Olivia was born with a rare condition meaning she had a long stay in hospital.
Jemma said: “It was so amazing to see so many staff turn out and give up their Saturday to raise money, I don’t know many schools whose staff come together like ours. It really is wonderful. Such a feel good day for us all.”
Cash raised will be split between ward D33 at the Queen’s Medical Centre and Treetops Hospice in Risley.
