Student campaign to improve lives

Students at Derby College’s Ilkeston campus have teamed up with Fixers, a national organisation working with young people to share their past experiences to improve their future lives. The students, who have learning difficulties and are on the Pathway to Working Life programme at the college, devised a campaign called Stay Strong. They have produced wristbands and created a leaflet with helpline contacts on a range of issues from bullying to bereavement.
