Students bake £200 for charities

Early years students at Derby College’s Ilkeston campus have raised more than £200 for children’s charities through a ‘Bake Off’ project as part of their course. The students, who are all studying at the campus in Pimlico, baked their own cakes and then sold them to staff and fellow students at the College and in the town’s Market Place. All funds raised will be split equally between Derby SANDS and towards research into CMN (congenital melanocytic naevi).
