Students at Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy have launched a fundraising appeal for the victims of the Nepal earthquake. Every day last week, each year group collected change in boxes during lunchtimes. The money will go towards CAFOD’s emergency appeal, which was launched after Nepal was hit by the devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake. Bluebell Richardson, 12, said: “It’s good to feel like we are doing something to help and making a difference.”
