CAPED crusaders have been fighting crime in Ilkeston this week thanks to craft activity sessions at Erewash Museum all week long.
Kids got to design their own masks at the High Street Museum and imitate their favourite superheroes.
Chris Boyle from the museum said: “It’s been very busy all summer long and this week was no exception.
“We’ve had 2,500 people through the doors with new faces and regulars alike.”
The fun gets historical from Tuesday with Normans Week.
Free history-themed crafts and competitions will be held daily between 11am-3pm.
The invasion ends on Friday with Norman pottery workshops for children of all ages. Places must be booked and cost £1 per child.
