Teenager due in court for alleged attack at Stapleford pub

An 18-year-old man will appear in court tomorrow in relation to an alleged assault on man at a Stapleford pub in the early hours of new year’s day.

A 44-year-old man suffered serious head injuries following an alleged assault in Toton Lane, Stapleford, outside of Larry’s Bar, at around 12.20am.

Nottinghamshire Police has charged Jack Shepherd, 18, of Crawford Avenue, Stapleford, with grievous bodily harm. He has been remanded in custody to appear in court on Monday (Jan 4).

A second man and a woman who were also arrested in connection with this incident have been bailed pending further enquiries.
