Ilkeston Food and Drink Fair takes place this Sunday.
The event has been organised by Carol and Gordon Pringle who run the Rutland Cafe.
It takes place at Ilkeston Rugby Club from 10am until 4pm and will include a variety of exhibitors, with over 48 stalls.
The Ilkeston Food Fair is a chance to sample food produced by some of the finest artisan producers in and around our local area.
The fair will include plants and crafts as well as the brilliant local food producers and brewers.
There will also be live music, street dancers, and food from all corners of the world, not to mention cakes, fabulous fudge, real ale, Pimms and Prosecco.
Several Ilkeston businesses will have stalls, including Sareena from The Junction cafe, Chris Morgan from Chilli Pepper Events,The Potting Shed, Peacock Plant Nurseries, Jartastic, Luna Moth Jewellery, Little Green Frog, and Oakfield Farm Shop are bringing a hog roast and cider. Nutbrook Brewery, Tea and Tiaras and Catherine from Simply Cakes are aldo attending.
Carol said: “Pony rides, face painting, an animal petting zoo, and a bouncy castle will keep the little people entertained.
“If you need more the Smooth Radio street team will be there to give away goodies and capture the fun in the sun.
“Please come along and show your support for an event which will showcase artisan producers from in and around our area.”
Masterchef finalist Pete Hewitt will open the fair and cook some of his delicious food.
