Third prize for house-site chief

The manager of a housing site in Ilkeston is celebrating after winning a prestigious national house-building award – for the third year running.

Dave Holland, site manager at Taylor Wimpey’s Briars Chase development off Heanor Road, beat off competition from around 15,000 entries to be honoured with a National Housebuilding Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award.

The awards are presented following a stringent judging process by NHBC inspectors who perform spot checks and continuous assessment of developments .

Dave said: “I’m delighted to have won a quality award for the third year on the trot – it’s a great honour not just for me but the whole team at Briars Chase. They all work incredibly hard and take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.”
