Major Derbyshire road reopens after crash

The A38 had been closed in both directions close to the exit for Belper and Kilburn.

Highways England tweeted that officers from the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit ‘are currently at scene’ and maintenance crews ‘were on their way to the area to assist’.

Drivers travelling between Chesterfield, the M1 and Derby, are being warned about possible delays as one lane remains closed in both directions.
