Tsunami appeal concert for town

TWO Ilkeston singer-songwriters will play a free concert in Ilkeston this weekend to promote albums, which will help victims of the Japanese tsunami.

Ethen Ashley Eden will be playing acoustic versions of the songs from his new punk album The Sets at the U Choose Smoothie Bar in South Street from 1pm on Saturday.

His close friend Taish Tsunematsu has family in Japan affected by the tsunami in March. Taish and Ethen collaborated on a single which reached number seven in the Japanese music charts in 2003.

Anna Lea, playing alongside Ethen, will be performing songs from her new folk album Time is Poetry.

The new albums are available to downloda from iTunes now. All money raised will go to the Japanes Tsunami Appeal.
