Two casualties treated after property fire in Long Eaton


Two female casualties suffered smoke inhalation after a blaze at a property in Long Eaton.

The fire started about 12.50pm, on Saturday, March 22, at the property on Welbeck Road.

A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “The fire was out on arrival but two female casualties had suffered smoke inhalation and an ambulance was in attendance.”

Ilkeston firefighters made sure the property was safe by about 1.20pm.
