THE fifth annual Underwood Scarecrow Festival will take place this weekend.
Residents, schools and community groups will have their scarecrows on display around the village, and a winner will be picked by festival organisers.
People can collect their scarecrow maps and quiz sheets at St Michael’s Church before going on a tour to see what different creations are on offer.
There is a small children’s scarecrow trail around the church as well as the scarecrows around the village.
The church will be open Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, from 10am to 5pm each day and the scarecrows will be out from 10am to 8pm each day.
Organiser Penny Fell said: “It is a great family weekend, for all ages to enjoy. People can walk, bike or go in the car.”
