KIDS went wild as they joined in with activities at Erewash Museum’s Wildlife Week.
On Thursday wildlife workshops were booked up with children wanting to see and hold animals including Komodo dragons, a hissing cockroach and a tarantula.
Workshops throughout the day saw 250 children take part in the sessions which also gave them the chance to hold rats, guinea pigs and Gretel the giant rabbit.
Museum manager, Helen Martinez, said: “All of the children had a great time and really enjoyed holding all of the different animals.
“It was a really popular workshop.”
Hundreds of people visited the museum, just off High Street, throughout the Easter holidays to take part in a range of activities.
