Stanton Elks endured frustration as their game at Derby Congs was cut short when they looked good for a victory.
The hosts batted first and were 62 without loss before Matt Winfield got the first of his five wickets to remove Shakil.
Marc Bostock (2), Chris Marshall and Martin Case also struck as Derby ended 177 all out.
Stanton were going well in reply at 49-2, but after 16 overs a heavy downpour made the ground unfit and the game was abandoned.
The second XI won by just two runs in a tight game with Breadsall at The Stute.
Openers Dave Coy and Dave Riley put on 81 for Stanton, the latter eventually departing for 60, and Elks were all out for 150 - Tom Henshaw adding 39.
Stanton had Breadsall in trouble at 126-8 with just eight overs left and they needed six off the final over to win, but Stanton prevailed thanks to two wickets from Henshaw (5-44) as the visitors fell just short of their target.
