A LARGE team from Long Eaton Swimming Club travelled to Sheffield on Sunday to compete at Ponds Forge in the Derbyshire ASA County Long Course Competition, and once again their performances did not disappoint.
Leading the way with gold medals and showing her versatility was 11-year-old Krissy Tomlinson, taking all four events for her age group.
Fifteen-year-old Kevin Wallbank swam to a National Qualifying Time in the 200m butterfly, and also won the 50m butterfly and secured two other second places.
Oliver Davidson won the 13-year age group 50m back and breaststroke, with three further top six places, while Hannah Cox gained five top six placings including a win in the 50m breaststroke.
In the 50m butterfly there were wins for 11-year-old Joshua Langfield and 13-year-old Kay Goulden.
Megan Smith, 13, and 14-year-old Jessica Laight took the 50m breaststroke events in their age groups, while 16-year-old Mischa Menzies won both the 50m freestyle and backstroke with a further three top six finishes.
In the 14-year-old age group, Hannah Jones took gold in the 50, 100 and 200m butterfly, and in the same age group Tyler-Anne Black won the 50m freestyle and Chloe Scattergood the 50m backstroke.
Katherine Williamson, swimming in the 17/19 age group ,also won the 50m backstroke.
