Talented teenager Justin Taylor-Tipton, of West Hallam, has tasted more glory in the sport of freestyle ski-ing -- this time on the slopes of Switzerland.

Along with his younger sister, Ella, the 15-year-old tackled the British Freestyle Championships in Laax. And he returned home with a gold medal and two silvers.

Justin, who landed the English slopestyle title last summer, was in sparkling form throughout the tournament. He won his gold in the U16 rails section and was placed fourth overall.

In the U16 slopestyle category, he bagged silver and was placed seventh overall, while in the U16 halfpipe category, he also finished runner-up, finishing sixth overall. All this despite fierce competition that included Team GB rivals Peter Speight and Tyler Harding.

Meanwhile 12-year-old Ella did the family name proud too, collecting a bronze medal in the U12 halfpipe, despite competing against Team GB starlet Madi Rowlands, and finishing a fine fourth overall in the open rails category.

On returning to the UK, the Taylor-Tiptons enjoyed more success at the Gloucester Slopestyle competition. Justin was first in the open category and won the competition overall, while Ella was the best female skier in the freestyle event.
