Nutbrook ended the campaign with a home game against Division Two champions Cutthorpe on Sunday and fell to a three-wicket defeat.
Nutbrook won the toss and chose to bat first but lost Lewis Hayward lbw fourth ball for nought despite appearing to hit the ball in the process.
Max Magann (14), Dan Lever (17), Steve Sanderson (13) and Rich Henshaw (17) were all out in the teens as Nutbrook crashed to 90-7, but Danny Brooks added 45 and Adam Fretwell 19 to leave the hosts 165 all out.
Cutthorpe lost opener lost their opener Drew second ball to Magann before a stand of 31 between Liam Sadler and Andy Thompson gave them the upper hand.
That was until spinners Henshaw and Sanderson (pictured) took over and the champions plunged to 130-7, Henshaw with 2 for 24 and Sanderson 4 for 41.
But skipper Plested and Combe pushed the score to 166, with wides being the second highest score (24).
Magann finished with 1 for 24 as he prepares to head back to Australia, although he hopes to return to the club next season.
Nutbrook claimed six points to end the season in seventh place in Division Two.
