Tuesday, 21st April 2020, 5:30 am
Little Man Tate will play at the 02 Academy in Sheffield.

The group will be playing at the 02 Academy, Sheffield, on Friday, September 18, the same venue where they bid an emotional farewell to more than 3,000 fans in 2009.

Speaking about the reunion show, frontman Jon Windle says: "We've had offers over the last few years to do something, but it was never the right time due to other things that were going on in our lives. This time it was perfect, we are all in a really good place and just can't wait to do it."

Expected to sell fast, tickets will go on general sale on Friday, April 24, at 10am. Pre-sale is available for O2 + Ticketmaster customers on Wecnesday, April 22 at 10am. Go to www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F005882E2C30F87?did=ukaetmpre

Stalwarts of Sheffield’s famously thriving indie scene of the noughties, Little Man Tate rubbed shoulders with the likes of Artic Monkeys, Reverend & The Makers, Milburn and Bromheads Jacket to put the Steel City back on the musical map.

Little Man Tate’s top 40 hits included What? What You Got?, House Party at Boothy's and Sexy in Latin.

Their debut album, About What You Know hit number 27 in the charts.
