Spooky events at museum

TICKETS are on sale for a series of spooky events at Erewash Museum in October.

Back by popular demand, the ghost hunt, on Saturday October 15, will give visitors the opportunity to explore unseen areas of the old Georgian building.

Professional ghost hunting equipment will be provided and experts will be on hand to oversee the search.

Cllr Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s lead member for culture and leisure, said: “Our previous Ghost Hunts sold out within days of tickets going on sale and proved extremely popular with all those who took part – with most saying they had experienced some form of ‘ghostly’ activity.”

Then on Saturday October 29 a terrifying night of horror, illusion, gothic magic and spooky stories will see psychological investigator Dr Nicolas Grimoire lead a night of tales from the darker side.

Cllr Wallis added: “This is a must-see show for all fans of illusion and magic as Dr Grimoire gives a master class in delivering his tales, which are a collection of bizarre and sometimes disturbing stories. It is definitely not for those of a nervous disposition!”
