Art fans are invited to Salon 6 at The Old Lock Up Studio in Cromford this weekend.
Salon 6 is the Old Lock Up’s sixth contemporary art exhibition and will be held on Saturday, September 27 for one night only. The venue will be opening at 6.30pm until 9.30pm and children are very welcome.
The exhibition promises to be another great show of established and emerging contemporary artists from the East Midlands, Yorkshire and for the first time, at a Salon show, overseas, as Stephen B MacInnis lives and works in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The studio has several pieces of Mandy Payne’s work at Salon 6. Mandy is one of four artists shortlisted for the prestigious John Moore’s painting prize 2014.
A spokesperson for the venue said: “We do hope you can join us for another ‘not to be missed’ show.”
