The Drifters will be bringing their Diamond Dynasty 60th Anniversary Tour to Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Friday, May 31, at 7.30pm.
The tours feature the current line-up of Pierre Herelle, Michael Williams, Ryan King and Carlton Powell.
Now in their 60th year, The Drifters have seen massive chart success on both sides of the Atlantic and across the world, with over 114 million album sales, 214 million singles sales and a vast catalogue of hits.
Billed as the Diamond Dynasty World Tour, the concert celebrates the timeless appeal of the brands hits over the last 60 years.
The current recording line up of The Drifters will perform the group’s greatest hits and new material recorded by them from album releases Five Decades and Moore (Atlantic/Rhino) in 2009 and Up on the Roof - the greatest hits album (Sony Music) in 2011.
