Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s next concert will be at the city’s Albert Hall on Saturday, March 7.
It will be an all-French affair with two pieces each by Berlioz and Debussy.
Berlioz’s rollicking Le Corsaire Overture kicks off the proceedings, followed by a Debussy double-bill, the revolutionary Prelude De L’Apres-Midi D’Un Faun plus the composer’s masterful La Mer.
After the break, you can enjoy Berlioz’s highly entertaining symphony for viola and orchestra - Harold In Italy - with Ann Beilby as the soloist. The concert starts atr 7.30pm. Call 0115 9419419 for ticket details.
