METAL band Plague of Ares will play its debut gig in Kimberley next week.
Band members Kirsty Davis, Simon Clay, Dan Bramley, Scott Moody and Adam Smith will play at the Queen’s Head pub on Thursday, July 7.
The group, from across the Nottingham area, have individually performed live at various venues across the UK.
Vocalist Kirsty is from Kimberley and wanted to launch the new project in her hometown as a thanks to the fans and friends from her previous outfit.
Gigs are booked nationwide after this show and it may be the only chance to see them locally for some time.
They will be playing a set of new original material with a few choice covers. Support comes from Ripley metallers ‘Shackled’.
Admission is free and doors open at 8pm.
